About My Larssen Family Tree
Please sign in to see more. Over 20 years ago, a close friend got me interested in genealogy and my passion for it has never ended. (Thank you, Nita!) As time has allowed over the years, I've delved into and researched my family history. Finding out where I came from, learning about those who lived before me, is so important to me. I get such a thrill when I discover an old picture of an ancestor online, the same as when I pull out all the old family photos my grandparents Larssen gave me.
My six-year-old daughter is now interested in learning about her family; she absolutely loves, loves, loves having such a large family and is very curious about what I am doing when I am working on my genealogy. So for her and all my other children, for my nieces and nephews, and for my granddaughters, I work when I can on our family history so that one day these wonderful babes can look at it and be proud of where they each came from, just like I am.
My father was a Larssen, my mother a Compala. My Larssen line is tied into some great stories of the past, like the role my Putnam ancestors played in the Salem Witch Trials, or the horrible tragedy that Larkin Skaggs took part in which resulted in his death. My Compala line is interwoven with Indian chiefs, the Baptist religion, tribal beliefs of "little people", and so much pride.
I am excited to share the information I have with all of my family, near and far, close and extended. I intend to update this site with consistency, as I plan to consistently research my family's past. So please, if you have anything you would like me to share, any information or pictures or stories, please sign my guestbook. |
